I wonder why we drifted

Why we burned so bright just to fade so fast

I wonder what caused it

Was it that friend that I never really liked

I wonder if I had just told you how I felt maybe things would have turned out differently

I wonder what runs through your head when you hear my name

Because i know that when I hear your name my mind runs over you, your eyes, your

smile

We may have just been friends but I will always wonder if we could have been more

That thought will play through my head for the rest of my life

You were and will always be the “I wonder, I wish, if only” of my life
